Fill your washing machine with clear, cold water but it is better with lukewarm water to prevent the damage or shrinkage of your wool socks.

Switch your washing machine to a wool setting.
And if you do not have a wool setting on your washing machine, use cold water, wash at a lower temperature and cycle or turn off the agitator and use a gentle feature instead.

Detergent
